Many talented math whizzes have estimated the basic number of houses Santa visits, the landmass that needs to be covered, along with the 10 hour delivery, to get a rough idea of speed required. Science Focus came to the conclusion that Santa must travel at a speed of 4.7 million kilometres per hour to deliver all his presents by Christmas morning. Peanuts.
