On a night characterized by rich vocals, bright lights, and one singer soaring high above the crowd, Experience Kissimmee hosted a little industry soiree to share the feeling of fun and relaxation that also sums up the destination quite well.

Joined by supplier partners and media, Danielle Ackermann, Experience Kissimmee’s North American sales manager, and Denise Graham, who handles PR in Canada for the organization, wanted to use the evening – the second night of recording artist P!NK’s ‘Beautiful Trauma’ tour at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre – to “thank our various partners for their continued support in jointly promoting, and driving business to, our destination,” said Graham.

And while it was a light evening full of entertainment, the focus nonetheless was on getting the Kissimmee message out there: “In Kissimmee, we make one thing – vacations,” said Graham.

“We are in very close proximity to the world-famous theme parks, as well as offering our own amazing experiences at our natural and man-made treasures. Accommodation choices are plentiful to suit every taste and budget – from small family-friendly hotels, to large, five-star luxury resorts -- as well as a selection of vacation home rentals ranging in size from two to 14 bedrooms, which is a unique product offered in Kissimmee.”

Canada continues to be the number one market for the destination, and while it is a very popular family destination – Graham highlighted the huge popularity of the destination’s vacation home rentals for multi-generational families – what Kissimmee has to offer appeals to a wide variety of demographics and interests.

“For the avid golfer, we offer 22 18-hole golf courses. The outdoor enthusiast will enjoy the variety of nature-based activities from kayaking to tree-trekking, zip-lining to bass fishing and airboat rides,” continued Graham, while also highlighting the area’s outlet shopping opportunities, interactive dinner shows and even hot air balloon experiences at sunrise, just to name a few.

See that speck high above the crowd? That’s P!NK.
