40 years after it stopped production, everyone's favorite zany hotel Brit-com TV series is coming back.

Monty Python alum and beloved British comedian John Cleese is set to revive Fawlty Towers with his daughter, Camilla Cleese, according to the BBC.

Believe it or not, the original series, whose gags are still quoted by us Brit-com lovers, only ran between 1975-1979 - but it made an indelible mark on the world of British comedy television.

The laugh-aloud farce shared the highs, lows, and hilarity of hotelier Basil and wife Sybil and their country inn staff, including the unforgettable Polly and hysterical Spanish waiter Manuel, trying to keep it all afloat. Basil's slapstick-driven and very un-'politically correct' run-ins with caricatures of hotel guests, inspectors, and tradespeople would all have to be kept from the long-suffering and competent Sybil, leading to shenanigans that are still split-a-gut hilarious today.

In a media conference, Cleese revealed the reboot will revive the character of Basil Fawlty as he "tries to navigate the modern world." It will also star the comedian's daughter, Camilla Cleese, as a character "who he has just discovered is his, (and) team up to run a boutique hotel."

The original series was co-written by John Cleese and his wife.

Castle Rock Entertainment, which has signed on the reboot, has not revealed which channels or streaming services where the revived series would be available.

But I know I'll be tuning in.
