Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

This Land Is Your Land

Well, Pumpkins, we got ourselves a Muslim mayor in Calgary, a prevert in Belleville and a new air carrier in Halifax. Seems to me the West wins hands down in the common sense department. If that conservative gas well can look beyond white, middle class and male by electing brown, Harvard educated and male – dare I say it – is female far behind? Never mind, anything beats having a fat old drunk named Ralph.

We’ll skip right over the fact that Ontario has produced another off-the-charts sexual predator from Scarborough - - and move to the east coast where a Halifax based airline has set its sights on being EastJet when it grows up. East Coast Airways is launching November 1st and I’m betting that they’re betting that by November 2nd they get an offer. They wasn’t born on a raff! Takes testies the size o’ Cockle Cove to launch an airline into a maritime winter, eh b’y!

And I’m keeping that picture firmly in my mind as images of a square jawed colonel in little girl undies float across my screen. Jaysus, Mary and Joseph, help us.
