You can’t force love, dahrlings. I’ve seen situations where even real jewels didn’t work. And my pleading and drunken phone messages only seemed to aggravate him. Stalking can sometimes work, but it’s an art.
But here’s a little advice for the males among us -- if you are looking to woo your one true love, the worst faux pas to make is the fake. A mock Tiffany bobble just screams “I mock our love.” And, more importantly, “I really can’t afford you.”
It’s hard to escape the plastic knock-off Prada – even in travel. Who knows what wily wizards hide behind the façade of a well trimmed website. Sometimes you can’t even find an address or phone number. Take the smartly laid out and cheaply priced BritFlights.com. It created a bit of a pot boyler when it first zoomed into site. Now, compare that website to Hamilton entrenched FlyCentralEurope.com. Someone’s playing the oldest game on the web: a carbon copy double fake-out. Then go one further and click on the ‘Tours & Packages’ tab on Fly Central Europe’s website. It will take you to Go Central Europe. Go Central Europe? Sort of like telling someone to Go and Travel. Directly.
I’m not saying. I’m just asking.
Happy Valentino Day to all my dear Pumpkins!!
