Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

The Hog Town Blues

On the heels of the big blue team kicking Calgary’s hiney, Toronto kicks out the mayor. So although I am terrifically tempted to summon a spitty “Hey Calgary! PFFFttttt!” – they are the ones with the fabulous mayor while we’ve had to chase a cheating, scheming, can’t throw a football- football coach, out of office.

And here, just for the sheer pleasure of being mean to a bully, is a clip of mr. big stuff fumbling himself on the Toronto City Hall grounds.

One more! Here’s a pic of His “I’m a busy man” Worship reading while driving (this was after driving past open street car doors).

Call it poetic justice. Sort of like the time the loud mouth dinkette spent the afternoon with her skirt tucked in her knickers. Except she wasn’t wearing any. These are very odd people, Pumpkins, who should espouse large covery bottom-wear at all times.

And on that note, Thomas Cook ought to stop covering its very British derriere and just be done with whatever it is they are doing. Honestly, Pumpkins. Harriett will kick out a few more senior managers this week, etc. etc. etc. Someone ought to tell her to just rip the band-aid off in one quick painful stroke. Peeling it slowly is bad for business, and, frankly, rather boring. Do get on with it, woman!

And further afield, this just in from the Israel Ministry of Tourism:
Dear Friends,

The winter is always an ideal time to visit Israel: the streets of Tel Aviv are teeming with outdoor music, art and fashion festivals. Travelers are strolling through the Alrov Mamilla shopping mall and the bazaars of the Old City of Jerusalem. And outdoor adventurists are enjoying ideal weather from the Galilee to the Negev to the Dead Sea.

How delightful. Although I’m having difficulty expunging the version I heard in my head:
Dear Friends in Denial,

The winter cease fire is always an ideal time to visit Israel: the streets of Tel Aviv are teeming with outdoor remains of badly aimed rockets, art and fashion festivals. Travelers are hiding out in the Alrov Mamilla shopping mall and the bazaars of the Old City of Jerusalem. And outdoor adventurists are enjoying ideal weather for panic as they head to the Dead Sea.
