Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Put Your Mouth Where Your Money Is

Honestly, dahrlings... don't be selling me no cream cheese when you don't have any cows in the stable. Just a bunch of bulls.

WestJet is calling for a female quota system - they are campaigning to get more women to sit on boards. It's called the Catalyst Accord and the men running WestJet are just tickled about their pledge "to challenge the assumption that qualified women cannot be found." Hear! Hear!

I have always figured women are under-represented on boards because men like it that way. I had no idea all the qualified women were lost! Some of these so called assumptions just slip right past me. Like maybe they don't want to be found or something?

Well, far be it from me to not learn by example, dear Pumpkins - and I am nothing if not fair. I am issuing a challenge of my own! Let us hereby question the assumption that all men who control boards are narrow minded egotistical misogynists with small penises. Who's with me? I'm calling it the Catapult Accord.

WestJet seems to be trying to lead by example. The airline appointed one female board member last year. Yesiree. No one knows exactly how they found her, but apparently the men assembled a posse. Could have been a pussy, I'm not sure. Point, is they got one. If they plan on shooting for 2, I'm over here boys! Easy to find! Woohoo!!
