I’ve never met a member I didn’t like, Pumpkins. Even though Senate members are portrayed as limp picks, the endless Canada wide search for their homes does wonders for travel. Those swollen air bills are probably just enough to cover Calin’s Easter bonus.
But the big news is that as of yesterday, Ensemble members are officially holders. Shareholders. The U.S. board approved a motion to make all of North America one massive firm.
As shareholders, Ensemble members can now be held accountable. Which is no small feat, Pumpkins. God knows I’ve tried keeping my husband’s member in line, but that thing has a mind of its own.
Word is Canadian retailers are very excited about this development.
Busting with pride, Ron Tereshyn commented, “To stand up and be counted as a full stature holder of shares is hard to beat.”
David Biltek, who’s always had a bone to pick about the issue, said that although he's experiencing a bit of anti-climax about the motion, the Grande Prairie office has never felt better.
Another long member of Ensemble, David Harris had this to say, “My wife and I have always held my membership dearly, but to hold shares is a whole other ball game.”
