Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Where Is Here?

You poor, dear, Pumpkins. It’s apparent many of you don’t know where you are. You must need a GPS inserted into your addendum to get back home after conference season.

Seriously, dahrlings, is it asking too much for travel people to have a basic grasp of geography? Things like here and over there. At a recent travel conference in Vancouver, Amex execs repeatedly declared “here, in the U.S.” in the same breath as the all important lesson: know your audience. The poor dears probably couldn’t understand why they weren’t in Kansas anymore.

Speaking of Oz, where are all the little Thomas Cook people? Butchart’s going back to the U.K. and Moore’s … somewhere. Is there a job opening helming Sunquest? With 2 left standing, Craig + Craig, are they thinning on top? I prefer Craig2 -- could be a whole new brand.

My head is spinning from all the changes. Especially AC and WS having babies. At the same time! Gawd. The sleepless nights. The teething. The pooping. Michael and Eamonn make a lovely couple though. The proud parents pushed out their baby yesterday -- only to see it leave the nest on July 1. Ferio and Greg released their little turbo above the skies of Nanaimo. Oh my. They grow up so fast.

It’s an exciting time, Pumpkins. All the more reason to maintain a firm grasp of your whereabouts at all times.
