Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Although I’ve never been the sharpest weapon in the arsenal, Pumpkins, but I’d like to think I’m somewhat jiggy to world affairs. So let me try and get this straight – if you bomb, shoot or maim innocent civilians, you are, at most, subjected to some tut-tutting from the UN. But use chemicals and you are so crossing the line.

Is gunpowder some sort of organic substance – considered less ‘chemically’? What?

Thank goodness our own courts are less worldly, dahrlings. I’ve never heard a murderer let off with a brisk talking-to because the weapon was ‘natural’.

Speaking of drawing arbitrary lines, Singapore’s Scoot Air is setting up ‘child-free’ zones. Five rows of seats will ban the snot-nosed, diaper clad, wailing, bottle-fed things. So where the hell am I supposed to sit? I don’t like kids either!
