Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Millennial Branding

Did it not cross any one’s mind way back in 1999 that by 2001 a reference to the millennium will be as passé as canned spider webs on November 1st? Done. Over. Last millennium’s news, dahrlings.

If Vision 2000 & itravel2000 had wanted to stay au courant these last 13 years, all they had to do was update themselves each year: itravel2001, itravel2002, and so on all the way to itravel2013. A sort of universal year teller, ticking away itravel’s time. Not unlike a debt master tinkling with your fate week to week.

This week Vision ripped the year right off itself. Wise move – although I’m not sure why it took 13 to figure that out. The thing about a year, dahrlings, is that it dates whatever it’s put on. Dates do that.

We here at Open Jaw are going against the grain and adopting the year system this coming January: Fresh off the world wide web, it’s the OpenJaw2014 article aggregation collection. People need to know it’s this season’s news.

In other dated news, remember Mirabel airport? The 1976 YMX flop is now a zombie movie hit. Millions of dollars worth of airport facilities are apparently the ideal venue for filming zombie movies. Go figure. YMX is already a ghost town. Walking dead clomp through its empty halls. Saves a lot on production. The latest to hit the big screen is called Warm Bodies. It’s a brain eating zombie romance comedy. Boo
