Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like 2015

It's almost a brand new year, dahrlings. This romantic notion of time is intended to inspire me to new levels of hope and optimism. It's a tough gig when faced with hair sprouting where it has no business. (You have to wonder if this particular degradation ever served an evolutionary purpose. To deter young males from inadvertently mating with old bags? Dude, she didn't have hair on her face so I couldn't tell!)

2014 is a bit hazy, for me, Pumpkins. But I imagine you were there, so I'm not sure why everyone feels compelled to tell you what happened in countless reruns of the best and worst. Lately, I'm rather fond of mediocre, dahrlings. It’s less bother, really.

Some of the worst is revisiting us in a nightmarish Malaysian triumvirate to rival the Bermuda triangle. Two carriers and 3 downed aircraft is bound to raise a spectrum of ghastly conspiracy theories. I imagine Tourism Malaysia will have locked their doors and gone home until the next century. The country’s business development slogan is “Why Malaysia?”. Why indeed.

Ivanna Gabbalot

Columnist

Part legend, part myth, all woman: Ivanna Gabbalot is OJ’s gossip columnist and considers herself the industry’s conscience. Equally annoying to Open Jaw management and inflated egos in C-suites everywhere, Ivanna works infrequently, preferring to snipe from the sidelines.
