Rhonda Stephenson Buys Canadian Travel Abroad

One of Canada's oldest and most respected tour operators has been sold. Canadian Travel Abroad, founded by the late Himo Mansour, has been bought by travel industry veteran Rhonda Stephenson. Stephenson entered the travel business in 1974, the same year Mansour started Canadian Travel Abroad. Stephenson was National Sales Manager for JM Vacations prior to their change of ownership earlier this year.

Canadian Travel Abroad is best known for high quality customized tours in Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey, Egypt and other countries in the Middle East. Stephenson has visited the many exciting destinations offered by Canadian Travel Abroad and plans to expand the options currently available. She is an expert in the Algarve longstay vacation market and has introduced a major Portugal program to the company's extensive product offering.
