Signs Of Hope For Cruise Pricing
Cruise Week

For the first time in this troubled year, retailers are consistently reporting year-over-year sales improvements. "August was stronger compared to prior year August," one Vacation.com agent told Cruise Week. "We're moving into the period now where September sales figures should be much stronger than the previous September."

But the agent is quick to characterize the sales surge as fragile. "The micro-economics are still what everyone is looking at. If the stock market declines for a week, it is likely phone volume will decline shortly thereafter.'
