Travelonly Names Phil Egan V.P. Sales & Marketing
Open Jaw

Gregory Luciani, President of Traveonly, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Phil Egan as Vice President, Sales & Marketing.  Egan, who has been active in the tour operating, airline, and travel publishing segments of the industry for over three decades, will oversee the next phase of the home-based Canadian travel company's sales and marketing development.

For the past four years, Egan has been produced a publication for the corporate meetings industry, a market that Travelonly intends to further develop, according to Luciani.

Best known to Canada's travel industry as one of the founders and managing partners of Regent Holidays, a holiday operator subsequently purchased by and merged into Transat's tour operating companies, and later as Vice President Sales for Baxter Travel Media, Egan had this to say about his new responsibilities at Travelonly:  "For a number of years, I have been a keen observer and ardent admirer of the impressive accomplishments of Gregory and Patrick Luciani.  I have watched them grow their company into the home-based industry leader with its 500 plus home-based travel associates and, in the process, become one of Canada's truly most powerful retail companies. The Luciani's have built a company that has taken the lead in home-based travel selling, a segment of the industry well-developed in the United States but still in its growing period here in Canada.'
