New Scenic Pearl To Join Sister Ships In 2011
Open Jaw

Currently under construction, the Scenic Pearl will join sister ships the Scenic Emerald, Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire in the Spring of 2011. The Pearl is being built at the Den Breejen Shipyard at Hardinxveld near Rotterdam in Holland as were sister ships Diamond and Sapphire.

Scenic placed the order for their fifth vessel due to the growth in popularity of the brand, particularly from North America. With the launch of the Scenic Pearl, the river cruise company will be able to add more diverse itineraries to its schedule. Shorter itinerary lengths will also be introduced, with a nod to the preferences of the North American audience.

Scenic's 'Space-Ships' are longer than typical European river cruise ships and carry 169 guests. Exclusive to Scenic features include private balconies in 82% of all accommodations; choice of two fine dining restaurants, complimentary wine and beer at lunch and dinner, all onboard gratuities as well as all sightseeing ashore.

Scenic launched their first two vessels in 2008, with two more river ships following in 2009.

Limited time sensitive offers are available for prospective guests to book for Europe 2010 sailings. For details, visit www.scenictours.com.
