VisitEngland Names Emma Thomas Media Manager North America

VisitEngland has announced the appointment of Emma Thomas as its Media Relations Manager, North America. Based in New York City, Emma will be responsible for promoting travel to England in both Canada and the U.S.



The appointment comes as VisitEngland is expanding its network of global representation. Prior to April 2009, VisitEngland existed as a division within VisitBritain.



Emma brings to VisitEngland a wealth of travel and tourism PR experience, having worked at PR companies specializing in travel and hospitality both in London and New York City. She previously worked as Senior Manager, Travel and Tourism PR at NYC & Company, New York City's marketing and tourism organization. Emma holds a BA degree from Huddersfield University.
