Air Canada Launching New Daily YYR-YYT Non-Stops

Air Canada has announced the expansion of its network in Newfoundland and Labrador with the introduction of daily non-stop fights between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and St. John's, effective May 1, 2010. Flights will be operated by Air Canada's commercial partner Jazz using 50-seat Bombardier CRJ regional aircraft.

Flights have been timed to offer travellers connections in St. John's to /from Toronto, Montréal, Halifax, Gander and Deer Lake.

"Air Canada and its commercial partners offer the most capacity of any carrier to and from Newfoundland and Labrador, "said Marcel Forget, Vice President, Network Planning, Air Canada.

"The introduction of year-round Happy Valley-Goose Bay-St. John's service will even further enhance service in Newfoundland and Labrador offering both business and leisure travellers improved access to our expansive global network."
