WestJet To Launch Seasonal Windsor-Calgary Service

WestJet has announced it will begin seasonal service to and from Windsor, Ontario, effective May 31st, 2010.

WestJet will fly between Windsor and Calgary once a day from May 31 to October 30, 2010. The outbound flight will leave Calgary at 10 a.m. MT and arrive in Windsor at 3:23 p.m. ET. The return flight leaves Windsor at 4:15 p.m. ET and arrives in Calgary at 6:14 p.m. MT, offering easy connections to many western Canadian cities including Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Abbotsford, Vancouver and Victoria.

One-way fares start at $129 per person, plus applicable fees and taxes, and are on sale now.

Windsor mayor and chair of the airport's board of directors, Eddie Francis, looks forward to the contribution WestJet will make to the community.
