The federal government has three good models to work from to create legislation protecting all Canadians from travel industry failures like Wednesday's closure of Nova Scotia-based Go Travel South, says Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) President David McCaig.
Both McCaig and Association of Retail Travel Agents (ARTA Canada) President Bruce Bishins used the word 'shame' to describe the lack of government attention to a problem that has raised its head more than a few times in recent years.
