Porter Offering Mont Tremblant Summer Flights

Porter Airlines has begun summer service to Mont Tremblant and the Upper Laurentians for the first time, with two flights per week between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Mont Tremblant International Airport. Flights will continue through September 6, 2010, on Thursday and Sunday each week.

Porter has provided winter seasonal service between Mont Tremblant and Toronto City Airport since 2007. The announcement of summer service follows three successful winter seasons. This past year’s winter schedule included as many as eight flights weekly, up from two flights in the first year of service.

“We’re excited to tap into Tremblant’s potential as a summer destination,” said Robert Deluce, President and CEO of Porter Airlines. “Our passengers know what the region has to offer during winter, but there is so much more to explore once the snow melts away.”

The Tremblant Summer Festival, Tremblant International Blues Festival and Les Rythmes Tremblant are just some of the seasonal attractions. Outdoor enthusiasts can also hike, bike, golf or lounge by the lake.
