WestJet today has launched new seasonal non-stop service between Vancouver and San Francisco. The inaugural flight departed Vancouver's International Airport at 8 a.m. Monday.

"There is a natural bond between coastal cities and we are delighted to offer the people of the lower mainland non-stop seasonal service to the city by the bay," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice President, Strategy and Planning. "Our seasonal flights from Calgary and Edmonton to San Francisco are extremely popular and we expect that the addition of non-stop service from Vancouver will be just as successful."

WestJet will fly between Vancouver and San Francisco daily until October 30th, 2010.

The schedule details of WestJet's new service are:

From Vancouver - WS1770   8 a.m. 10:13 a.m.
From San Francisco - WS1771  11:15 a.m.  1:24 p.m.
