Jonview Names Andrew Lind Named Vice President & General Manager

Nelson Gentiletti, President of Jonview Canada, has announced the appointment of Andrew Lind as the incoming operator's Vice President and General Manager. Andrew will assume his new duties on August 16th.

“We are very happy to be able to rely on Andrew’s talents and skills in a position that demands an in-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, particularly in Canada,” said Mr. Gentiletti, adding: “Andrew is a meticulous manager, driven by a true passion for our industry.”

Mr. Lind holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario and began his career in sales in the printing industry before joining the Jonview Canada team in 1998 as Sales Manager. He subsequently held several senior management positions, including overseeing the Australasian, Japanese and German markets. In 2004, he was named Director, Products and Operations, then Senior Director in 2007. In 2009, he was appointed Director of Jonview Canada’s Montreal office, while retaining his responsibilities at the Toronto office. Mr. Lind succeeds Annick Guérard, who is becoming Vice President, Marketing and Web Commercialization for Transat Tours Canada.
