On the heels of Hong Kong's record visitor arrival numbers so far in 2010, Cathay Pacific has announced that effective October 31st, they will be adding two flights a week between Toronto and Hong Kong to helpe meet the increased demand. The increased frequency will provide travellers a choice of 12 flights weekly between the two international hubs.
“There is growing demand and with12 weekly departures, this will give travellers greater flexibility when flying to Hong Kong and other parts of Asia,” said Lavinia Lau, Vice President Canada, Cathay Pacific Airways. “Travellers will also be treated to our award-winning service and in-flight product featuring First Class suites, fully-flat beds in Business Class and more personal space in Economy Class.”

The non-stop flights will be operated by 777-300ER ultra long-haul aircraft.
In celebration of the additional flights, the airline also announced special fares from $1,034 eff. 23AUG thru 10DEC. These roundtrip airfares are on sale until 31 August 2010. Taxes and fees are extra. Maximum stay is three months. Seats are limited and other restrictions may apply. Special airfares are also available for Montreal and Ottawa departures.
