Sunwing Travel Group Acquires Caribbean Nexus Tours

Sunwing Travel Group has announced that it has agreed to acquire 100% of Caribbean Nexus Tours, a ground handler and incoming tour operator in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Stephen Hunter, CEO of The Sunwing Travel Group stated, “We are delighted to bring such a well-established and respected company into the Sunwing Group. This move reflects a further enhancement of our vertically integrated model which allows us to better control our costs and most importantly offer a higher level of service to our clients. The Sunwing Travel Group comprises tour operators, retail travel agencies and airline companies and is headquartered in Toronto with regional offices in Vancouver, Montreal and Halifax.
