CX Going Double Daily On YYZ-HKG In May

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced the addition of two non-stop flights between Toronto and Hong Kong. From May 1 2011, the service will grow from 12 to 14 flights weekly.

According to Cathay Pacific Vice President, Lavinia Lau, the additional flights are responsive to growing demand for travel to Asia.  “We’re delighted to increase our services in Canada and offer travellers greater choice to Hong Kong with same-carrier connections to Mainland China and other parts of Asia. Our home base of Hong Kong and award-winning airport continues to evolve as a major hub in Asia, alongside the growth of Cathay Pacific.”

With double daily service, Cathay Pacific flies non-stop from Toronto to Hong Kong more than any other airline.

The non-stop flights will be operated by 777-300ER ultra long-haul aircraft equipped with First, Business and Economy Class cabins.
