Flair Debuts New, Non-Stop Flights Between YYZ and YYG

On 02AUG, Flair Airlines landed at Charlottetown from Toronto’s Pearson Airport for the first time, marking a new non-stop service for the independent ULCC or ultra-low-cost carrier.

The new service will operate every Monday and Friday morning in both directions.

Edmonton-based Flair had hoped to launch service to P.E.I. sooner, but like most everything in the last sixteen months, the pandemic put a long delay to those plans.

Stephen Jones, president and CEO of Flair Airlines, was on the tarmac to welcome his airline's first arrival on Prince Edward Island.

“Flair Airlines is absolutely thrilled to be bringing service to Charlottetown and Prince Edward Island. We look forward to delivering low fares every day, making travel more affordable so that people can connect with friends and family, and people from other parts of Canada can come and visit this beautiful area,” said Jones.

Jones also told the CBC that he hopes the service will be year-round, and that “we go where the demand is.”
