Lynx Air Launches Montreal - Vancouver Flights

Ultra-low cost airline Lynx Air flew its inaugural flight from Montreal Pierre Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on 23JUN.

The airline will operate twelve flights per week between YUL and YVR, bringing its total number of flights in and out of Montreal to 26 flights per week.

The launch follows the recent introduction of Lynx service from Montreal to Calgary and St. John's.

Merren McArthur, CEO of Lynx Air, said “Our continued investment in Quebec reflects the huge opportunity we see in this market, which has been historically underserved by low cost-carriers, and we are excited to make this beautiful province more accessible to Western Canadian communities."

Fares start at CAD $89 one way between Montreal and Vancouver, including taxes and fees.
