Porter Airlines Launches New Victoria-Toronto Route

Porter's Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

Porter Airlines' previously-announced daily flights between Victoria, B.C. (YYJ) and Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) have now launched. The route is the airline's latest addition to a growing network out of its YYZ hub since the introduction of its Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

Kevin Jackson, the EVP and CCO of Porter Airlines, said, "Victoria is proving to be among our most popular new markets. We are now truly connecting Canada's major cities from the west with Victoria to the east in St. John's, with many points in between. There are numerous other destinations that we intend to serve across North America as additional aircraft are delivered to us through 2024."

Daily flight schedule:

  • Departure from Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) at 10:55 a.m., arriving in Victoria (YYJ) at 1:04 p.m.
  • Departure from Victoria (YYJ) at 2:00 p.m., arriving in Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) at 9:31 p.m.

Connecting flights link Victoria pax to Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, and St. John's via YYZ.
