WestJet Resumes Non-Stop Service from Victoria to Las Vegas

Las Vegas

WestJet has officially announced the reintroduction of its transborder flight service between Victoria (YYJ) and Las Vegas (LAS). This marks the first time since 2017 that the airline is reestablishing its connection from the island to an international destination.

Starting 01FEB 2024, WestJet will operate the non-stop service twice weekly. The move is seen as part of WestJet's larger strategy to amplify its investment in Western Canada by enhancing sun and leisure connections.

WestJet Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer John Weatherill, said, "WestJet is proud to add our newest route to our winter schedule, and bolster Victoria's transborder connectivity to Las Vegas. As we continue to provide guests across Canada with even more affordable and accessible opportunities to escape the cold and find the sun this winter, Victoria is an important part of our Western Canada growth plan."

Service details are as follows:

  • Victoria to Las Vegas: Twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday, starting 01FEB 2024.
  • Las Vegas to Victoria: Also twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday, effective 01FEB 2024.
