Azores Airlines Expands Canadian Presence with New Summer 2024 Routes

Azores Airlines announced an expansion of its non-stop flights from Canada for Summer 2024.

Starting 03APR, a new seasonal route from Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) to Lajes Airport (TER) on the island of Terceira will be introduced.

This route will begin as a weekly service departing YYZ on Wednesdays from 03APR to 30MAY. From 02JUN, it will increase to twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays until 29SEP. Between 02OCT and 24OCT, it will return to a single weekly operation on Wednesdays.

Additionally, from 01JUN to 30SEP, Montreal’s Pierre Trudeau International (YUL) will see the addition of a seasonal service to Ponta Delgada’s Aeroporto João Paulo II (PDL) on São Miguel Island. This route will have four weekly services on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Azores Airlines, in collaboration with Porter Airlines and WestJet, will facilitate connections for Montreal passengers through YYZ, including the new YYZ-TER and YUL-PDL routes, extending to other Canadian airports.
