Air Canada Vacations Updates Online Self-Service Tools

Air Canada Vacations unveiled new updates to its self-service travel tools on 04JUN 24, aimed at providing travel agents and customers with added flexibility and convenience post-booking. In a bid to offer greater flexibility, travel advisors can now add Air Canada Vacations’ Travel Protection CareFree and CareFlex up to 48 hours after the booking date.

Private transfers can also be included post-booking. Las Vegas excursions and activities, private transfers (when/if available), Club Mobay Lounge at Sangsters International Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica, a round of golf at The Westing Reserve Conchal in Liberia, Costa Rica, and even meal plans (when/if available) are just some of the additions that can be added after the initial booking.

Air Canada Vacations has also enhanced its self-serve tools for cruise bookings made online, and through GDS and its call centre. These enhancements include the ability to view and print bookings and e-documents, add payments, including Future Travel Credits, reservations with options or a final payment, seat selections, and Aeroplan number.

"These enhancements underscore our unwavering commitment to innovation and responsiveness to the needs of our valued travel partners,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations.

The additional tools are easily accessible through Air Canada Vacations’ website and all external distribution channels, including Sirev, Galileo Vacations, and Sabre Vacations through TripBook. Moreover, customers now have the ability to access their reservations directly online and modify certain elements of their booking via the Manage Your Booking page on aircanadavacations.com
