Under the theme "Wherever you go, go with Pride!" KLM will host a booth in The Village on Church Street, Toronto, from 28-30JUN.
"As part of its 75-year presence in Canada, KLM is delighted to continue supporting Toronto Pride, a celebration that promotes love, equality, and acceptance," said Jean-Eudes de La Bretèche, General Manager for Air France and KLM in Canada. “At KLM, we believe that diversity is a pillar of strength, and we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for all."
To design a new vibrant street booth, KLM renewed its collaboration with the talented LGBTQ+ artist Tim Singleton.
The collaboration includes a hand-painted football that will be featured in the "KLM Tunnel Club Lounge" at Toronto FC during Pride Month, as KLM is the official international airline of TFC.
Additionally, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, the largest and longest-running LGBTQ+ theatre in the world, will collaborate with Singleton to create a special edition Tim Singleton x KLM tote bag.
The "KLM Passport Experience" will feature local businesses and LGBTQ+ enthusiasts who will offer gifts to the participants. Whiskful Thinking Bakery will honour KLM's home country, the Netherlands, by offering Dutch mini pancakes. Anatta Flowers will provide a colourful tulip, adding a Dutch touch to the journey.
