American Airlines is beefing up its Québec City status by adding fall flights to Charlotte between now and 02NOV, 2024.

American already flies from YQB to Philadelphia and Chicago. Adding Quebec City, even on a temporary basis, is no doubt a move that will be duly noted by Air Canada.

AA will offer one direct flight a week between YQB and CLT on Saturdays.

It’s a boon for Quebec residents, as Charlotte is an AA hub and will offer connections to Florida, the Caribbean, Texas, California and other southern destinations.

It's also a boost for Quebec tourism.

“The U.S. is our leading market internationally, and this new connection will make it easier for our neighbours to the south to discover our beautiful region during the fall,” Quebec City officials said. “This period is the peak of the cruise season (18 scheduled cruise ship arrivals and departures), and therefore the new flight promises to be highly attractive to U.S. cruise passengers.”
