LeBoat Now Sold via Dedicated Agent Portal on 5Continents as it Gears Up for 2021 Season

LeBoat now has its own dedicated section on the 5Continents website as it launches its 2021 season. The boating company joined the 5Continents portfolio last summer.

“Canada’s UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal is undoubtedly the featured destination of 2021, however, we also wanted to start introducing our European destinations offering perfect opportunities to travel to Europe in a ‘bubble’ when the time is right,” said David Boigné, President of 5Continents.

Canada’s ban on cruising in Canadian waters in 2021 does not apply to LeBoat.

The dedicated portal can be accessed here. The booking engine is password protected and exclusive to travel agents.

“LeBoat is an exceptional product, but it can be difficult for travel agents to navigate the mandatory supplements as well as different pricing options available to clients. It sells much easier when packaged with transportation to and from the base and/or with pre- and/or post-stays and this is exactly what we are offering travel agents and their clients,” said Boigné.

Packages are offered offline and offer a higher commission, Boigné adds. Travel agents can contact info@5continentsca.com or call 1-866-239-6474.

“I am looking forward to presenting these packages through interactive webinars and connecting this new product with the industry. Discovering the amazing Ottawa region and the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal this summer sounds like a perfect plan,” said Michele Rauzon, National Sales Director.

LeBoat provides boating holidays on the lakes and canals of Europe and Canada. It has an extensive fleet of canal “Home Away from Home” boats and a wide choice of boating destinations to choose from. The company says its boats are easy to operate, as they are custom-built with the non-boater in mind, and no special licence is required for a LeBoat vacation. The “floating cottages” come with fully equipped kitchens, private showers and bathrooms and sleeping cabins. Clients can also plan their own itinerary.

“We are extremely happy to see our products being packaged and offered to the travel agents’ community in a ‘ready to book’ format,” says Lisa Mclean, LeBoat Sales & Marketing Manager, North America and Latin America.

Boating season begins as early as March in Europe, but it remains uncertain when Canadians will be able to travel there. It opens in Ontario on 22MAY this year.
