Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways Update COVID-19 Vaccine Policy

Avalon Waterways on the Rhine

The Globus family of brands announced it will lift its policy requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The change will take effect beginning 01MAR, 2023. Passengers will no longer need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel on a Globus or Cosmos tour or Avalon Waterways cruise.

With the 12SEP announcement, Globus family of brands’ Managing Director Stéphanie Bishop said: “The health and safety of our guests remain our top priority and while we highly recommend that travellers are vaccinated against COVID-19, after 01MAR, 2023, we will no longer require it. Third-party operators and countries across the globe will continue to have their own rules and regulations. It will be up to the responsibility of our guests to understand and comply with those policies to move freely around the world.”

The current policy for the Globus family of brands requires all guests to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will remain in effect until 01MAR, 2023. Anyone travelling before that date on a Globus, Cosmos or Avalon Waterways vacation must be fully vaccinated.
