Star Clippers Lifts Vaccine Mandate for Guests

Star Clippers COVID-19 Mandate
Star Clipper's Royal Clipper at sea

Effective at the start of the winter Caribbean and Central American sailing season, Star Clippers will no longer require passengers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Passengers who are fully vaccinated with at least all COVID-19 primary series vaccine doses will no longer be required to present a negative antigen or PCR test upon embarkation. Star Clippers will require proof by way of the original vaccination documents issued by the relevant country’s health authority.

Non-vaccinated passengers will need to present a negative antigen test, performed within 48 hours of embarkation, or a negative RT-PCR test, performed within 72 hours of embarkation. The test must be administered by an authorized party and home tests will not be accepted.

The new policy is issued in conjunction with continued advanced hygiene protocols onboard including regular disinfecting of public areas, use of air purifiers and ongoing training of crew and staff for symptom detection and response. Star Clippers adheres to the highest health and safety policy, closely following US Public Health guidelines.

The new policy is in effect on Royal Clipper beginning 5NOV 2022, Star Clipper beginning 19NOV 2022 and Star Flyer beginning 26NOV 2022.
