Scenic and Emerald Cruises Announce Deal for Solo Travellers

Emerald Azzurra

Scenic and Emerald Cruises have announced a new deal for solo travellers. Emerald Cruises is offering “Zero Single Supplements” on select European river cruises for 2023.
Single supplements as low as 125% of the regular cruise fare are being offered on dozens of Scenic’s 2023 river departures in Europe, as well as Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Cruises ocean yacht sailings. Booking deadlines are based on space availability and payment in full is required 12 months or more before departure – or within 72 hours when within 12 months. These fares are not combinable with other savings offers except future travel credits.
Example sailings for Emerald Cruises include the eight-day Grenadines & Granada Adventure sailing round trip out of Bridgetown, Barbados. This sailing on the 100-guest Emerald Azzurra calls on ports that the bigger cruise ships can’t access like Chatham Bay on Union Island, where guests can snorkel, and Hillsborough on the small, rural island of Carriacou. Solo traveller fares start at CAD $7,794, with one departure each in NOV and DEC 2023. On the rivers, Emerald Cruises is offering eight-day Danube Delights – one of the line’s most popular itineraries. Sailing between Munich and Budapest, the sailing offers an opportunity to visit small, ancient villages and the modern capital cities of Austria and Hungary. Season-long departures have single supplement fares starting at CAD $5,219.
Scenic itineraries include an eight-day Gems of the Danube river cruise. Sailing between Budapest and Nuremburg, the all-inclusive fare offers a variety of daily excursions to choose from - sampling beer at one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world (Weltenburg Abbey) to visiting the birthplace of Mozart and backdrop for the Sound of Music (Salzburg) to enjoying a guided e-bike ride between Melk to Dürnstein.
Special single supplemental fares start at CAD $7,019. An option on the higher end for single supplements is the nine-day Turks & Caicos Islands to Jamaica sailing, departing Nassau on 23OCT, which includes glass-bottom kayaks in the mangroves and the small caves of Providenciales, seeing flamingos, and riding bamboo rafts down Port Antonio’s Great River. Fares for single travellers start at CAD $14,276.
