Avalon Waterways has announced a new Storyteller Series cruise for 2024: Cheers to 50 Years! A Storyteller Cruise & Birthday Celebration with Jen Hatmaker.
This 8-day, Active & Discovery through Holland & Belgium departure invites 150 travellers to celebrate Jen Hatmaker’s first page of her 50th chapter (on her 50th birthday) while sailing the waters of Holland and Belgium.
Guests will spend their days gliding through the canals of Amsterdam, biking past Holland’s postcard-perfect windmills, walking through Rotterdam’s modern architecture, sampling sweet treats in Brussels and tagging the streets of Ghent along with their favorite Storyteller, Jen Hatmaker. This vacation takes the idea of Jen’s traditional “me camp” to a whole new level.

The latest Storyteller to be announced – Jen Hatmaker – is a New York Times best-selling author of For the Love; Of Mess and Moxie; Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire – as well as her new cookbook, Feed These People. Hatmaker also hosts the award-winning “For the Love” podcast and has her own Jen Hatmaker Book Club. She leads an online community comprised of millions of women, sharing in life’s secrets, woes and wonderful possibilities.

The Storyteller cruise with Jen Hatmaker is the third to be announced for 2024. Other Storytellers set to host Avalon Waterways’ cruises in 2024 include Diana Gabaldon, best-selling author of the Outlander series and award-winning Scottish actor and best-selling author Graham McTavish.
Previous Storyteller cruises have been hosted by Cheryl Strayed, Candace Bushnell, Gillian Flynn, Christopher Moore and Sister Hazel.
