Celebrity Cruises has announced its Caribbean program for Summer 2024 with a big surprise: calls at private island destination CocoCay, previously reserved for Royal Caribbean ships.
The program will feature two ships, Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Reflection, both offering year-round Caribbean sailings and new weekend itineraries.
“Our customers are consistently asking for more opportunities to visit this stunning region year-round, have more weekend options so they can getaway easier, and have expressed a desire for a private island destination. By introducing this new program, we can meet this demand and offer something new and historic to all our guests,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises.
Perfect Day at CocoCay offers activities such as relaxing on the beach, swimming, and enjoying various adventures like sliding down the island's waterslide or taking a balloon ride for panoramic views. CocoCay also features Coco Beach Club, an adults-only area with a heated infinity pool and overwater cabanas. Hideaway Beach, another adults-only section with private cabanas and a food outlet, will be introduced in JAN.
The newest addition to the Edge Series ships, Celebrity Beyond, will sail year-round from South Florida. It will offer six and eight-night journeys to destinations including Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, Mexico, and the Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, along with Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Celebrity Reflection gives guests the ability to embark on weekend getaways throughout the year. The ship will offer three and four-night itineraries, taking guests to destinations such as Key West and Bimini, as well as Perfect Day at CocoCay.
