Open Jaw On Location as the Caribbean Travel Marketplace Kicks Off in Barbados

Jamaican hotelier Nicola Madden-Greig, CHTA’s President, delivering an address on the State of the Industry and the Region at the CHTA Travel Forum.

The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) Caribbean Travel Marketplace is underway in the beautiful island of Barbados and Open Jaw is there!

The event kicks off today with a Caribbean Travel Forum at Sandals Barbados with a keynote address by the Honorable Miss Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados. In the days that follow, the event promises to have networking opportunities with Caribbean tourism delegates showcasing their tourism offerings globally.

Among the attendees are buyers from North and South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and East Asia to pitch their products and services.

CHTA Marketplace brings hoteliers, airlines, car rental companies, attractions, DMC’s, wholesalers, online travel agencies, travel advisors, international and regional media under one roof.

The Barbados Tourism and Marketing Inc (BTMI) is hosting us on a two day press trip, post convention, by local DMC’s and partners to explore and experience Barbadian hospitality.
