Product Manager Liesa Bissett describing one of Trafalgar's Unique Insights
Trafalgar recently held an event in YTO’s swanky Yorkville neighbourhood to launch its brand-new Europe & Britain First Class brochure for 2013. Any event in Yorkville is a treat enough, but to be invited to a private dining room during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is very special indeed.
The intimate group of top suppliers enjoyed mingling with The Travel Corporation’s staff and executive team. On hand were TravCorp Canada President, Jeff Element; Wolf Paunic, V.P. of Sales for Trafalgar and special guest, Product Development Manager, Liesa Bissett – who came from LON for the event.
The Trafalgar team were proud to explain some of the new product available for 2013, including 5 new itineraries; WWI & WWII Battlefields; English Country Gardens; Scenic Spain & Portugal; Corsica & Sardinia and Capitals of the North. All of these programs feature exclusive Be My Guest dining experiences and special sightseeing stops.
Paunic explained the motivation behind creating the new WWI & WWII Battlefields tour. “2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WWI, and we’re already experiencing interest in our new Battlefields itinerary," he said. "The younger generation is especially interested because many of their grandparents and parents fought in these wars – so our tour, with a Canadian angle on the tragic events, provides them with insight into their personal history.”
Other highlights of the new brochure include the biggest early booking bonus the operator has offered to date: clients can save up to 10% on bookings made before December 27th, 2012 and more of the operator’s famous insider experiences. Trafalgar feels that these exclusive opportunities to get up-close and personal with a destination are what sets them apart.
If you book your clients on a Trafalgar guided vacation for 2013, your clients may find themselves having a loud conversation with the Chester Town Crier, sharpening their skills as a gladiator; channeling their inner Kate Winslet at the new Titanic Belfast museum or eating their way through Italy on a foodie tour.
Trafalgar offers a wide range of local dining and unique sightseeing opportunities packaged for all types of clients; from family tours that really are fun for the whole family to city breaks in some of the most popular destinations.
And, if the “insider experience” we recently enjoyed at Yorkville’s Ciao Wine Bar is anything to go by, your clients will be very impressed.
