At Collette Vacations’ recent private brochure launch at the Ontario Science Centre, a group of top agents and industry partners were treated to lesson about the tour operator’s underlying chemistry. As far as Collette is concerned, their formula is simple: stay true to your roots, and treat both clients and agents as part of the family.

The invitation-only group met at the Science Centre for drinks and lasagna dinner, and a chance to learn more about Collette’s new Worldwide Travel brochure for 2013/2014. It was also a great chance to get to know the Collette family a little better, though it should be noted that most people already knew the popular Collette staff: as General Manager for Canada, Brett Walker, casually mentioned, he’s been with the company for 24 yr. And Canadian Sales Manager Ron Lonsdale has been part of the Collette family for almost as long.

After only 2 years with Collette, the new kid on the block is District Sales Manager, Christine Arthur. A perennial industry favourite, Christine is always ready with a smile and a helpful idea – anyone who has met her knows she genuinely loves helping agents, and that comes across loud and clear.

New to Collette this year is a partnership with Britain’s gardening charity, The Royal Horticultural Society. Amongst other benefits, this unique relationship allows Collette Vacations clients exclusive pre-show access to the Chelsea Flower Show, a special privilege not usually extended to the public.
