Tour East's Charmie Chiang, winner of a Business Class ticket to TPE

If I'd known I'd have worn my fuzzy slippers.

After all, when Taiwan-based EVA Airways invites you out to breakfast on a bitterly cold winter morning, then tempts you with an actual fully-reclining seat from their Royal Laurel Business class, the urge to snuggle down under the EVA down comforter is almost too much to take.

And that's not all that your clients will enjoy during the 13 hr. non-stop service from YYZ to TPE, according to sales rep, Patrick Wang. How about stylish pre-orderable meals such as rack of lamb and lobster? A Bulgari amenity kit and gold velvet slippers? And Dom Perignon to sip as you peruse the multi-media inflight entertainment on the 15" screen? Or you could choose to work: the new seats offer multi-port connectors and 110 power supply. Talk about a Lazy Boy with class!

The new business class cabin service will be available on the thrice-weekly service YYZ-TPE. EVA has invested $100 million in upgrading their B777 ER aircraft which now feature 38 Royal Laurel seats in 1-2-1 configuration. YYZ joins LAX and JFK as North American cities featuring the "new" planes. Pretty impressive stuff from the folks who are famous for featuring Hello Kitty on some of their aircraft.

In other BR news, the carrier will be part of Star Alliance as of mid-June this year. And with flights in Royal Laurel class clocking in at around $4,000 round trip, it'll be a luxurious way to de-stress your clients as they fly to Asia. Fuzzy slippers optional!
