Win! Raptors are off to the playoffs

Last week 10 lucky agents gathered to watch the Raptors' last home game of the season at the Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto.

The pro basketball game was the winning prize for those who recently completed the Trinidad & Tobago Travel Agent Specialist Program. The winners were chosen from over 60 entries.

VIP box seats offered a great view of the court and a chance to mingle and enjoy some munchies. After the game everyone had the opportunity to meet Raptors assistant coach and team ambassador Jamaal Magloire, whose family roots stem from Trinidad. Jamaal is often on hand for events hosted by the tourist board.

Allison Fergus, Marketing & PR Director Canada, says that agents who successfully complete the specialist program  in the coming months can expect more great prizes. The benefits to becoming a specialist include a customized certificate, FAM trip opportunities, credits from The Travel Institute and the ACTA.
