ACV@Home Second Annual 'Simply the Best' Awards 05MAR

Air Canada Vacations is celebrating the first anniversary of its ACV@Home Program.

"In its inaugural year, ACV@Home has empowered advisors across Canada to thrive in their businesses, adapting to new challenges and embracing innovative solutions," ACV said in a statement.

"I am delighted to witness the phenomenal success achieved within the program's first year. The rapid growth and positive impact on independent travel advisors emphasizes the effectiveness of our commitment to innovation and support," said Erminia Nigro, General Manager of Sales for Ontario and Atlantic Canada at Air Canada Vacations.

"The dedication and resilience displayed by our advisors has exceeded expectations, making ACV@Home a true example of success in the ever-evolving travel industry. We look forward to building on this achievement and continuing to empower our advisors for even greater milestones in the years to come."

As part of the anniversary celebrations, ACV has announced the second annual Simply the Best Awards, which will occur virtually on 05MAR, 2024.

The event will recognize independent travel advisors' contributions and achievements within the ACV@Home Program. In addition to the awards ceremony, ACV will unveil Phase 2.0 of the ACV Masterclass, offering Passport to Benefits, a program designed to provide independent travel advisors with tools and resources to enhance their expertise and grow their businesses.

ACV also announced the addition of Tina Kensett to the team and the promotion of Krista Rothfuchs to Independent Advisors Manager. "Their expertise and leadership will further strengthen the support provided to the ACV@Home community."

Looking ahead, ACV will launch on-the-road initiatives across Canada and introduce three new Niche@Home accounts to its portfolio, including Transat@Home, Fareconnect, and GOTravel, alongside founding members TravelOnly, TTAND, FCI, Nexion, Centre Holidays, and Trevello.
