Air Canada Vacations announced the winners of its second annual Simply the Best Awards, held virtually on 05MAR, 2024, to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of independent advisors within the ACV@Home Program.
"We're proud to highlight the resilience and determination of all Independent Travel Advisors," said Ana Paula De Souza, Director of Sales at Air Canada Vacations. "The 2024 Simply the Best Awards celebrate their unwavering commitment to excellence, showcasing the remarkable achievements and enduring spirit of our community."
Ana Paula De Souza kicked off the ceremony alongside hosts Krista Rothfuchs and Tina Kensett, representing Air Canada Vacations. Nearly 350 independent advisors attended, engaging in games and winning prizes while gaining insight into the opportunities available for the ACV@Home community of advisors. Attendees witnessed their colleagues and peers being acknowledged and rewarded in various categories:
- Top Diversified Sales: Recognizing advisors who demonstrated significant sales efforts across Air Canada Vacations' diverse offerings, including Sun destinations, Europe, USA, Cruise, and ePackages.
- Top Group Awards: Six top-producing group agents were honoured, with one winner from each network.
- Top Overall Sales: Three top agents were acknowledged, and the gold winner received two air seats to any Sun destination offered by Air Canada Vacations.
- Rising Star: Highlighting advisors who increased their Air Canada Vacations sales from 2022 to 2023.
The categories highlighted the achievements of agents from host agencies such as TravelOnly, Trevello, Centre Holidays, Nexion, Independent by Flight Centre, and The Travel Agent Next Door.
