The rules and regulations for passengers entering Canada via air are continuously changing. To keep travellers up to date, Health Canada has released a short video highlighting what passengers should expect when returning to Canada.
It is important to note that travellers returning to Canada must provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72-hours prior to their flight home. Travellers also need to book a government approved hotel for a three-night stay upon arrival.
Before departing to the hotels, travellers will take another COVID-19 test admisistered at the airport, as well as receive a kit to take another test during their hotel stay. Government-authorized hotels are located near one of the four Canadian airports currently accepting international flights. Click here for more details on the hotel quarantine.
