June Air Traffic Figures Up 45% from Last Year: NAV Canada

NAV Canada announced its air traffic figures for JUN 2021. These figures were measured in weighted charging units for enroute, terminal and oceanic air navigation services. This was in comparison to the last fiscal year as well as the 2019 fiscal year.

In JUN 2021 weighted charging units increased by an average of 45.4 per cent compared to the same month in 2020.

The increase is positive news for post-pandemic recovery, but NAV Canada notes that compared to the same month in 2019, JUN 2021 weighted charging units decreased by an average of 57.9 per cent.
