Liz Scull has been appointed general manager in Canada for the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA).

She will build DWHSA’s membership in Canada and offer romance travel training programs for Canadian travel advisors.

Currently, 15 per cent of the association’s members reside and work in Canada.

“We’re pleased that Liz has joined DWHSA as our general manager in Canada,” DWHSA President Lisa Sheldon said. “We now have a dedicated professional providing training, marketing tools, and support exclusively for DWHSA’s Canadian members.”

Scull began her career in the Canadian travel industry working in the product and marketing departments at various tour operators. She works now as a Toronto-based travel advisor with Romantic Planet Vacations.

Formed in 2013, the DWHSA is a network of romance travel professionals, with more than 750 agents in North America and around the world engaged in planning and selling destination weddings, honeymoons, and romantic getaways.
